Case Energy Partners (“Case”) is a privately held investment holding company established in 2012 by Charlie Matter, focused on long-term ownership of oil and gas minerals and royalties. Over the years, Case has built its portfolio through partnerships, guided by a commitment to long-term value. Though distinct, Case’s investments are managed by its affiliate, Evergreen Minerals.

In 2016, Charlie and two partners launched CEP Minerals and CEP Minerals II (“CEP”) as a separate, privately funded investment partnership. CEP earned recognition as a leading acquirer, manager and divestor of oil and gas minerals and royalties, completing over $120 million in transactions. Having divested all of its assets, CEP is no longer active and has always remained legally distinct from Case.
