Mr. Matter is an oil and gas entrepreneur who has founded and successfully operated multiple mineral and royalty partnerships. Currently, he is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Case Energy Partners, LLC, and its affiliates (Case) where he oversees the evaluation, acquisition, and management of oil and gas properties. He has extensive familiarity with the land and acquisition aspects of the oil and gas business with an emphasis on mineral and royalty interests. Since starting Case, he has successfully completed $120MM+ mineral and royalty transactions across 15 states and worked with Meredith Land & Minerals, Cascade Energy, Rosewood Resources, Dale Operating, Wilco Properties, and numerous family offices. He is a Registered Professional Landman (RPL), Certified Mineral Manager (CMM), and received a Bachelor of Arts from Centenary College and Master of Arts from John Brown University. He has also completed continuing education at Colorado School of the Mines.

He is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Dallas Petroleum Club, Dallas, and Fort Worth Wildcatters, American Association of Petroleum Landmen (AAPL), Young Professionals in Energy (YPE – Dallas Chapter), and National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO).

Mr. Doumany is an attorney who has engaged in extensive and exclusive representation of major exploration and production companies and landowners in the field of oil and gas and land-related issues. He has extensive familiarity with all aspects of an oil and gas transactional practice with an emphasis on title examination. At Case, he coordinates all legal and corporate matters, including title review and mineral and lease purchase matters.  He received his B.A. in 2004 from the University of Texas and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2007.

Blake Harris, COO of Case Energy Partners LLC / CEP Minerals LLC began his career in the oil and gas industry as a lease operator for Laredo Petroleum in the Permian Basin. In wanting to learn more about the business side of the industry, he decided to go work as an independent landman performing title research and lease acquisitions in the Eaglebine Shale. Since joining Case in 2015, Blake has played a pivotal role in the company successfully deploying over $100MM into mineral assets across 14 states, and now primarily focuses on the continuous integration of the major functions of the company. Blake served in the United States Marine Corps before and while attending Texas A&M University. 

He is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and of the Young Professionals in Energy organization. He is also a board member of the veteran's non-profit, Cowtown Warriors.

Lindsay Abbe

VP Business Administration


As VP of Business Administration, Lindsay Abbe oversees the Accounting, Human Resources, and General Administration departments at Case. Lindsay began her career as an independent landman in south and east Texas where she gained valuable experience in title due diligence. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and is currently pursuing her Masters of Accounting. She is a Registered Landman and an active member of American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and Young Professionals in Energy (YPE).
